Music Therapy and Art Therapy.
Both music therapy and art therapy are therapeutic tools that impact on many levels: cognitive, physical, emotional, mental, and social. They are expressive therapies that make use of the creative process to improve well-being. They have relaxing effects and are useful in treating stress, anxiety, agitation and depression. Knowing and expressing emotions through art and music helps to improve self-knowledge as well as increase self-esteem. Thus, they are also constituted as an effective tool within the development of the human being.
